Individual Therapy
Individual therapy, also known as psychotherapy or counseling, is a one-on-one therapeutic process where a person works with a trained mental health professional to address personal challenges. It aims to explore thoughts, emotions, and behavior to gain insight or self-awareness, as well as develop strategies that improve functionality, overall well-being and personal growth.

Is Individual Therapy Right For You?
It may be time to consider therapy if any of the following issues are causing you moderate to severe mental or emotional distress resulting in noticeable disruptions to your daily life or functioning:
- Anxiety and stress – Managing excessive worry, panic attacks, and stress-related issues.
- Depression – Coping with feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and lack of motivation.
- Relationship issues – Addressing communication problems, conflicts, and emotional disconnection.
- Trauma and PTSD – Healing from past traumatic experiences or abuse.
- Grief and loss – Navigating the emotional impact of losing a loved one.
- Self-esteem issues – Improving self-worth and overcoming feelings of inadequacy.
- Anger management – Learning to control and express anger in a healthy way.
- Addiction and substance abuse – Overcoming dependencies and finding healthier coping mechanisms.
- Life transitions – Managing major changes like divorce, job loss, or moving.
- Chronic illness or pain – Coping with the emotional challenges of long-term health conditions.
